After having led the creative department of FCB Healthcare San Francisco, as Senior VP, Executive Creative Director, Bob decided to open his own agency, Kane & Finkel Healthcare Communications in 1997. K&F had offices in San Francisco and London where Bob served as Global Creative Director and lead strategist for his 75-person staff. Kane & Finkel was consistently ranked among the top 30 healthcare agencies in the US, and secured the title of number 1 independent healthcare agency on the West Coast for more than 15 years.
Known for his enthusiasm and collaborative, hands-on style, Bob’s engaging leadership helped earn his former agency a reputation for bold, entrepreneurial thinking and impressive results. Under Bob’s strategic guidance and creative direction, his former agency garnered countless awards, including industry accolades for J&J, Gilead, Genentech, Merck, GSK, Bayer, Roche, Astellas, Elan, Allergan, Neutrogena, Procter & Gamble, and many others. His vast experience in professional, patient and payer market communications spans the medical universe.
