Lopa began her biopharmaceutical career at SmithKline Beecham, now GlaxoSmithKline, where she spent 5 years working on products such as Hycamtin®, Kytril®, Androderm®, and Relafen®. Through these on-the-front-line experiences, Lopa has demonstrated the knowledge and expertise necessary to successfully launch and commercialize products in an increasingly complex, global market.

Prior to forging an invaluable 20-year career in biopharma, Lopa Desai directed major strategic initiatives for Fortune 100 companies as a brand consultant and market research manager while at world-renowned branding firm, Landor Associates, both in San Francisco and New York. She continues to bring that “outside of industry” perspective and brand differentiation experience to the life sciences industry.
